I've moved into my unit with a voucher, what happens now?

Once you move into your new unit and the Long Beach Housing Authority begins making payments to the owner, you officially become a participant in the Housing Choice Voucher program. From this point, you will be managed by our occupancy team.

Please remember that any changes in your household income, family composition, or other relevant circumstances must be reported to the Housing Authority within 10 days of the change. It is crucial to keep your information up-to-date to maintain eligibility and ensure your voucher assistance continues without interruption.
