To apply for a Housing Choice Voucher, you must complete an online application. Currently, the waiting list is closed, and there are no scheduled plans for reopening. However, the Long Beach Housing Authority will provide ample notice to the community when it does reopen. Notices will be widely disseminated throughout Long Beach to ensure potential applicants are informed in advance.

For updates on waitlist openings and detailed application instructions, regularly check the Housing Authority’s website. Note that the Housing Authority does not manage the waitlist for the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) program.
